Meet Our Dentist
Chad Ho, DDS

A quick summary if you missed my introduction on the home page. I am Dr. Chad Ho. My undergraduate degree is in Biochemistry from Cal State, Long Beach, and then I went on to dental school at the University of Southern California. There's a saying in medicine that you'll always be a lifelong student. I have also joined many organizations to stay current on the newest dentistry studies and innovations. As the tech industry grows, the dental field adapts and incorporates that technology into our daily practices. This feeds directly into my background in biomimetic dentistry.

I was fortunate enough to work and learn from the father of biomimetic dentistry. We focused on preserving healthy tooth structure rather than using traditional methods of dentistry, which involve aggressive tooth removal. We aimed to focus on removing ONLY unhealthy and diseased aspects of each tooth to preserve the natural esthetics, function and strength within each tooth. We can achieve these kinds of results with minimally invasive techniques, biocompatible materials, and advanced technology.

While dentistry was not on my radar until I was an undergrad, I have always been part of volunteer programs. During middle school, I joined a youth group called Lions' Heart. At the time, the organization was starting with a few groups. I held several office positions and received various awards, such as the youth presidential award for service hours. The organization has grown tremendously, reaching over 30 states and performing millions of hours of community service. Then, in high school, I joined the Scouts of America and earned my Eagle Rank within two years of joining. After high school, at Cal State Long Beach, I was involved with a program known as Long Beach B.L.A.S.T. I mentored middle school students towards a path leading to college, some of whom would be the first in their families even to consider attending college. Once I started dental school, I participated in various volunteering programs and events, including USC's AYUDA and Mobile clinic, where we would bring dental equipment to multiple locations, such as schools, and provide dental care to children and adults from Bakersfield to Mexico. And, Young & Healthy, where I would travel to first-grade classrooms each month to discuss keeping a healthy smile.

Within six months of graduating from dental school, I was engaged and married to my high school sweetheart, and I moved to Las Vegas to be closer to family. Once established, we adopted our dog Otis and had our first child.

When I have free time, I enjoy a mix of adventurous and nerdy hobbies, from traveling, snowboarding, trying new foods, watching a movie, or having a game night with friends and family.
